China Wok - Authentic Chinese Cuisine in Winston-Salem, NC

I wanted to eat some Chinese food and wasn't sure where to find the best location. I found this location from Google Maps. I can not complain with the food. The location looked clean which is important for me.

The food here is always good. I order using their online ordering site and they've always been good about substitutions and/or special requests I've made.

The people rating it one star have probably only ever been once. I used to go here all the time with my friend, and we had nothing but a delicious and quick experience being served. The Crab Rangoon and Sweet Chicken is amazing, too. Sometimes they will have their kids playing on iPads near the kitchen but I really couldn’t care less, you can tell it’s just a family trying to make it and if you are respectful with them they will return it and serve you well. The cold sesame noodles are superb, and the vegetable lomein is delicious. They respected my request of no mushrooms. The service was fast and efficient with a great delivery time. I will be ordering here again

I ordered this thinking it was like Panda Express Chow Mein but clearly it wasn’t lol. It was actually really good! It was in a light broth sauce (possibly like the lobster sauce..I’m not sure never had the lobster sauce) and came with the crispy noodles. I would get this again, the crispy noodles were stale as can be.

Food tasted good, my grandparents love this place but this is my first time. The fried rice isn't fried rice. It's yellow rice cooked once. Tastes okay but not what my husband and I expected when ordering fried rice.

Thought I was ordering from a different restaurant but ordered here. Actually pleasantly surprised that the food was hot and tasty. Would probably order again!

We drove down from Virginia to Winston-Salem for shopping and found this place online. As we entered, a door dasher was in front of us and we chatted while we waited. She told us that she was glad we found this place because it's "the best Chinese food in Winston-Salem" I can't speak for the other places in the area but it was the best I've had in a very long time. If it wasn't over an hour away, I would be a regular customer. I love everything but my senior dad only eats Bourbon Chicken, not even the rice, just the meat. He ate more than he expected because it was so good. I got the General Tso's combo so I could have fried rice and egg roll with it. We also got a bottled drink for each of us. Everything was great and it was served in To-go boxes with plates so we could easily bring the leftovers home for later. It was a pleasant atmosphere with just a few tables. One of the cooks sang as he worked, the food was brought over to us by a friendly and smiling woman. a child was in the corner doing homework or playing on a tablet. Later, as we were finishing, an older man brought out a kettle of green tea and offered a cup to us, which I gratefully accepted. It was a nice end to our day and I look forward to leftovers tomorrow!
